On-going finishing works in Block A1

Finishing works: Skimming and Floor Screeding

Skimming is a plastering process that involves applying a thin coat to walls to achieve the smooth surface needed for painting or decoration.

Floor screed is made of cementitious materials and sand that have been blended according to an appropriate mix design. It is applied to create a level surface for the floor finish that will be introduced to the top of the floor screed.

Soil Investigation is a preliminary requirement for design approval of Universal One project. Soil investigation must be undertaken to determine the bearing capacity of the soil, its settlement rate and the position of the water table.
